Jozef Mician
self-taught visual artist and photographer born in January 1989 in Slovakia.
He discovered photography at the beginning of 2008 and started taking photographs just with his phone. When he won his first competition the same year, judges could not believe it was taken with camera in phone.
After that he has started experimenting with old film cameras. It's a year now, since he has started using old polaroid cameras and enjoys this amazing medium until now.
He converts his imagination and dreams to conceptual photography. It is all about his day dreams, about worlds he wishes he could live in.
At present he is working on the Dreams series. It is focused on the purity and tenderness of human body surrounded by nature. His goal is to show you other worlds from his dreams where lives one beautiful human being, that is full of love and empty of evil, so can fly high to the clouds and connect to the nature.
During last two years he has received many honors from international competitions. In year 2012 his art has been exhibited in more than 25 international photography salons all over the world.
